'Lili' working for the Poppy Appeal

The Royal British Legion Poppy AppealThe concert version of 'Lili' has educational and fundraising potential. Contact Teflonstage

'Lili' is highly entertaining as a fundraising performance for veterans. It traces the story of how 'Lili Marlene' became an accidental overnight sensation in war-torn Europe. In spite of opposition from Goebbels and the Nazi Ministry for Propaganda it soon became a song for all nations as they longed for the return of peace.

The show features many other great songs of the period - A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square, Falling In Love Again, Wunderbar, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Let's Do It, The D-Day Dodgers and many more.

If the Poppy Appeal in your area would like advice on how 'Lili' can guarantee an enjoyable evening while raising funds, contact teflonstage. A 'Lili' Ready-To-Go Package is also available. This includes scripts plus template poster and programme designs that can save your organisation money in order to maximise fundraising.
